This Dutch-founded company offers an e-commerce platform that helps manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers to scale more efficiently and effectively. With the solution they’re able to run their entire webshop from one place. How? By making their e-commerce tooling and ERP systems work as one. The company is taking the e-commerce industry by storm and currently counts about 375 people, spread across 9 international offices. The company culture is extremely open and dynamic and your young and ambitious colleagues have a hands-on mentality. As they’re growing rapidly, they’re now looking for a Head of Product Marketing & Retention to take ownership of the go-to-marketing strategy.

Head of Product Marketing & Retention

As the Head of Product Marketing & Retention you’ll be responsible for delivering the value proposition of the company to the outside world. You’ll be the one to set up a complete strategy that includes positioning, messaging, pricing and promotion. You analyse the overall market, competitors and customer needs and turn this into actionable insights for the marketing, CSM and development teams. Additionally, you will manage, coach and motivate your own team of 3, consisting of 2 product marketers and a retention marketer. In short; a leading role with enormous impact on the entire company.

Main responsibilities:

  • You’ll own the international product marketing strategy which includes positioning and messaging via multiple channels, pricing and analyst relations
  • Work on compelling campaigns that attract inbound leads and create value for customers
  • Analyse campaigns results and constantly stay up-to-date on the market and customer needs
  • You manage, mentor and motivate the product marketing team
  • To gain a complete understanding of the product, you will speak to customers to learn more about their challenges and how to solve these

What do you bring to the table?

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, of which at least 2 specifically in Product Marketing
  • You’ve had ownership of the positioning, messaging and pricing of a software product or multiple solutions
  • You have managed and coached a team before
  • You love understanding customers and translating complex concepts and solution features to easily explainable product benefits with clear value proposition
  • You’re entrepreneurial, ambitious and love working in an international environment
