They are based in Haarlem since 2017, scaling up and currently with 20 FTE. They’re expecting another round of investment coming this year and are market leader within the Netherlands. Expansion is now on the roadmap in other territories in EMEA. Their sweet spot are small to large law firms struggling with compliance matters.
With over 150 clients they are now looking to shift from founder led to sales led, therefore we’re looking for a Business Development Manager for the Netherlands.
The role
- New business focus – law firms in the netherlands
- Full cycle position from lead to close
- Work closely with marketing in order to follow up on the leads from outbound campaigns
- Average deal sizes range from €100 MRR up to €1500 MRR
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to potential clients, highlighting how your solution can address their specific needs in compliance and regulatory management.
- Establish strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at law firms, including partners, compliance officers, and IT decision-maker
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology or legal sectors, with experience in selling to law firms or professional services.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the legal industry, especially in areas related to regulatory compliance and technology adoption.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technology solutions in a way that is accessible to legal professionals.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building and client satisfaction.
- Negotiation and Closing Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems, especially those related to client needs and product fit.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt sales strategies in response to changing market conditions and client needs.
- BSc or MSc in Law
