About the job

As Marketing Manager Events you will be the face and voice of the brand at offline and online events throughout the DACH region. You will have ownership over all event specific touchpoints of the marketing strategy and will build out the community. To do this, you will develop a strategy focused on gaining new leads in the region and continuously drive it forward. You lead a growing team of event and marketing managers, organize events and work on corporate marketing activities such as setting up documents, content and advertising material for the DACH region. In this, you’ll work closely with the Sales, Brand and Design team to make sure the perfect message is delivered at every event.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Adapting the Global Marketing Strategy to the DACH region to create high quality events and content to generate MQL’s for sales team
  • You’re responsible for the German-speaking event appearances, equipment and advertising material, ensuring the representation and messaging of the brand is always on point
  • Interacting with decision makers and build long term relationships with (potential) customers
  • Creating high quality content for various media outlets and platforms together with the marketing team
  • You will act as a direct point of contact for the community
  • Monitoring industry news, social networks and trends and come up with your own suggestions

The experience we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience as an event manager or marketer in a high growth SaaS organization, having worked with the DACH region is a huge plus
  • You have broad marketing, content and social media knowledge and analytical skills
  • A strong ability to work with cross-functional teams in online marketing, content and design
  • Of course, you have excellent organizational and communication skills
  • You’re fluent in English and German
