Role

The Senior Pre-Sales Engineer bridges business needs and technical solutions, requiring technical and sales skills. This role involves working with the sales team to address the technical concerns of their SaaS platform for enterprise customers in asset-heavy industries.

 

You will support Account Executives by translating customers’ technical priorities into high-impact use cases, conducting platform demos, and designing proof-of-value projects. You will also address complex customer challenges and collaborate with partners on tailored solutions.

 

Beyond sales, you will work with existing customers to maximise product value and address new use cases. Collaborating with the Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, you will stay updated on platform developments and industry trends, create reusable collateral, and provide product insights to shape the product roadmap and ensure a product-solution fit.

 

Requirements

  • Over 7 years of experience in Enterprise Solution/Pre-Sales Engineering roles in B2B SaaS market
  • Track record of facilitating proof-of-value workshops and delivering training
  • General understanding of software in asset-intensive industries like Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients
  • Ability to identify customer pain points and devise solutions that benefit both the customer and the company
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining technical sales knowledge
